Approach

After an introductory interview, we set to work with the solution that you desire and search for suitable candidates. Thanks to years of experience, Polned has an extensive pool of suitable candidates, from the whole of Europe. On the basis of the profile and any additional criteria, a suitable match is made. As soon as the right employee has been found, we introduce this employee to the customer.

Polned Uitzendbureau mainly uses secondment agreements, in order to offer its employees more certainty. In general, the employees stay and work four to six weeks in the Netherlands and then have one or two weeks’ leave. This cycle then continues during the year. Of course, the actual holiday planning is determined in consultation with customers and employees. Polned also provides other forms of flexible employment, such as pay-rolling, outsourcing as well as custom-made projects.

Wilvo – Dennis Geerings

Wilvo is a specialist in the processing of sheet steel and in light construction work. Its customer database includes large regional and national companies such as ASML, Vanderlande and Océ. “We work exclusively under the assignment of our customers,” explains Dennis Geerings, the company manager. “We consciously keep the production in the Netherlands. In this way, we can guarantee the best quality and flexibility. All the specialist knowledge is available in the Netherlands. We arrange for the people for production to come here, for example from Poland via Polned.”

Geerings sees the advantages of employees from Poland. “Polish people come to work here from their homeland for a relatively short period. This means that they are very motivated, provided you deploy them correctly. They do not mind doing overtime. This means that Polish people are extremely productive.” However, Geerings does warn against fraudulent temporary employment agencies. “It is often the case that the temporary employment agency pays Polish workers a poor wage. In order to combat such practices, nowadays as a hiring company you are also liable for paying the collective agreement wage and the holiday allowance. In Polned, we have found the right partner for deploying Polish employees in our company.”

TerSpegelt Holiday Park

For years, TerSpegelt Holiday Park has been leading in the camping world. The more than average quality is reflected in the five stars that the campsite has qualified for. “We do everything we can to supply the best service, and we have also received several awards for our service. For example, we received the award of Campsite of the Year 2005 and we are allowed to call ourselves a Eurotop campsite. The German Automobile Association (ADAC) also recognizes our quality, because we are one of the few Dutch campsites with the title of Superplatz,” says commercial manager Angelique Joosten. However, a campsite has to meet many requirements before it is allowed to hold these titles. Once the title has been awarded, the campsite cannot rest on its laurels, because an annual check is carried out, which is usually unannounced. “It is therefore important that our campsite is always one hundred percent in order”, says Joosten. “This keeps us on our toes and makes sure that our customers are also one hundred percent satisfied.”

One of the criteria for the inspectors from the Royal Dutch Touring Club [ANWB] and ADAC is the maintenance and state of the sanitary facilities. Joosten: “The sanitary facilities must be clean. Fortunately, we can count on the expertise of the people from Polned for this. They not only make sure that the sanitary facilities are in a perfect state, but they also clean all our rental units on the changeover days. There are approximately sixty of them, so you will realize that it is a considerable task to have everything ready on time, at every changeover!” However, during the ten years that TerSpegelt has been a customer of Polned, it has become clear that Polned always meets its agreements. “We can rely completely on the service by Polned,” says Joosten. “Polned knows how things work here and contributes ideas. In addition, the Polish workers are very motivated. They do not mind working in broken shifts and are always present on time. If someone cannot work, for example due to illness, the lines at Polned are very short and a solution is quickly found. That flexibility and service of Polned ensure that TerSpegelt can supply its customers with the quality which is expected from a five-star campsite!”
